The French Mafia - Introduction
Marcel Francisci was born in Corsica circa 1919 or 1920. As a young man, he fought with the Free French Forces in Italy during World War II and was awarded awarded four medals[2] for acts of heroism, including the Croix de Guerre.[1] After the armistice with Italy, he was recruited into the Corsican Mafia by Jo Renucci and began smuggling cigarettes and silk stockings between Tangiers and Marseilles. During this time, he also established narcotics contacts in various Arab countries.
In 1947 Renucci and Francisci become anti-Communist strongmen for the Rally of the French People (RDF), the forerunner of the present-day Gaullist Party (UDR). Seizing the opportunity, Francisci befriended members of the political coterie of Charles de Gaulle. Francisci's influence in the party grew with his bank account and he would later become a leader of the Gaullist Party in Corsica.
When Renucci died in November 1958, Francisci gained control of his criminal empire. Though Francisci was in charge, he returned to Paris and delegated authority of heroin distribution in Marseilles to underlings. In Paris, Francisci spent much of his time befriending politicians and investing his wealth in casinos. He was the owner of a lucrative international gambling syndicate with lavish casinos in Paris, London and Beirut. He ran the prestigious Cercle Hausmann in Paris.
Throughout the 1960s, Francisci was supposedly involved in gangland wars in southern France. The first war occurred in 1963. The second war occurred between 1965 and 1967 against the powerful Guérini clan. At that time, the Guérini clan was the ruling dynasty of the Corsican Mafia and had systematically organized the smuggling of opium from Turkey and other Middle Eastern countries. The Guérini clan was led by Marseilles mob boss Antoine Guérini and his underling Jean-Baptiste Andreani.
The latter gangland war was reportedly sparked by competition over casino revenues between Guérini and Francisci. The war silently continued for three years with little more than extended obituary notices in the French press. On 23 June 1967, two masked motorcyclists pumped eleven bullets into Antoine Guerini at a Marseilles gas station.[3] Weeks later, Francisci was nearly killed by snipers while leaving an election rally in favor of John Bozzi, a Gaullist candidate, in Ajaccio, Corsica, but he managed to escape. According to the French weekly newspaper L'Express, on 14 December 1967, two gangsters loyal to the Guérini clan tried to blow up Francisci's house with 220 pounds of TNT. The two men were blown to bits planting the bomb. On 21 June 1968, in Ajaccio, Corsica, Francisci was ambushed by five gunmen while dining at a restaurant. Although Francisci was miraculously unscathed, bystanders weren't as fortunate.
One was killed, five others were wounded. Four months later, the men who tried to kill Marcel were murdered in a Parisian bar by gunmen dressed as policemen.[1] Ultimately, the Guérini clan was exterminated in the French underworld.
Later, Marcel Francisci became an elected official for the Gaullist Party in Corsica. In 1971, he and Paul Mondoloni were accused by police forces in the U.S. Bureau of Narcotics of being involved in the trafficking of heroin between Marseilles and New York City.
On 16 January 1982, Marcel Francisci was killed in Paris, France. He was shot to death in the parking lot of the building where he lived as he was entering his car.

The Laroux Sandino Crew Mafia - Georgia & Florida
They’re Back….. The Laroux Clan Mob, or Mafia, French Mafia as they hate to be named went silent in 2002 for nearly a decade awaiting orders from family boss, Arthur Sandino. French counterpart, Sandino, was serving a life sentence in prison for racketeering, kingpin charges and other RICO and mafia related charges involving organized crime, also known as OC and “mobbed up”.
Obviously, Laroux is a French Name in anyones book. Although this family runs legit businesses mainly for re-sale, they're back in Fed news since acting Boss A. Sandino tragically died in prison from multiple wounds from a knife or knife like object.
Sandino had requested a lay-low for all family members during indictments, forcing them to lam it, or pursue legit income streams until further notice only making contact with his under boss, Georgia Resident Richie Lott of French Descent from the 1970's regime of French Organized Crime in the US. This lay-low is a classic mafia type scenario when a boss is arrested or incarcerated by any government agency.
When Sandino was quietly arrested at his coast home in Islamorada Florida in May of 2002, he requested his under boss, allegedly Richie Lott of southern GA, have their entire family spend every penny of their cash on legalized businesses until further notice. No moves are to be made, Sandino told Lott. Lott was permitted to visit Sandino in his Florida Prison for updates many times as seen in the photos of this blog.
Above, an un-happy French Mafia Figure A. Sandino awaits a prison visit as cameras attack
What is unique about the La Roux French Mafia Family is many of their active family and capo members or soldiers are publically well known and quickly deny involvement such as under boss, Richie Lott who resides in Georgia and made his “legal mark” as a fishing guide.
In the past decade, alleged under boss Richie Lott and his 3 capos; Joe Murph Jr of southern GA, Atlanta GA referred possible family addition and candidate, Scott Griffin and named Capo, Grady Leggett with their soldiers, operate several internet businesses of perfectly legal websites selling a variety of legit products from Tooth Paste to Fishing Supplies, which is the ONLY reason I have this story and 7 local news papers do not.
Editor Note: I am telling this from a friend and journalism standpoint, not a damned sportswriter or classified insert. I spent 12-13 years around Richie Lott and the LaRoche' Crew during their early debut of soldiers in South Georgia. It is no secret by any means. I was personally in solid contact with these guys. I watched the streak of lottery winnings, side betting, shylocking, Gambling and other Organized Crime activity by this crew .
What Changed and why the resurface – VIOLENCE FEARED?
The Feds announced the death of acting Boss Arthur Sandino on Wednesday, August 22, 2012 by mail only, non-publically. I found out Sandino had been dead for over a month from multiple stab wounds. But, one person already knew…. his underboss.
“The Feds were afraid to announce it…They sent me a friggin’ letter in the mail. Had to be worry-some for them,” Lott said. but I got calls the minute he died from inside” He went on to say “the Feds probably feared a crime wave. A lot has changed in ten years and we’ve suffered many losses of proportions only family understands. When all this first happened, I acted as instructed and left behind lots of nice things, a house on the marsh and a lot of pride.”
In The Mafia or in The Mob?
I asked Lott. His response? "What's that supposed to mean, anyhow? We’re just a quiet, tight family and we’ve been quiet and laid low for a long time and stayed out of the main stream. I really cannot tell you anymore than this. Sandino is a made man and he is gone, and that is a tragedy. He was like a father to me, so lets all hope his wounds were self inflicted.” Richie Lott said, I just got back from South Florida.
I was cut off at this point, but Lott says his shylock and loansharking business is no more and once again denied the existence of a Southern Georgis Mafia and any denied involvement with the Sandino Mafia, even though this has been publically announced by Government Officials several times in the past.
Alleged upcoming Capo Scott Griffin was not contacted and Leggett refused my interview.
